Hunza is a stunning valley located in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. It is renowned for its breathtaking mountain scenery and rich cultural heritage. The weather in Hunza is generally mild and pleasant, especially during the summer months. May and September are considered the best times to visit Hunza Valley. The valley lies along the Hunza River and is surrounded by majestic peaks like Rakaposhi and Ultar Sar.

Hunza is located about 100 km north of Gilgit city and is easily accessible by road via the Karakoram Highway. The distance from Islamabad to Hunza is approximately 600 km and can be covered in about 12 to 14 hours by car.

Hunza is famous for its handicrafts, including handwoven carpets, traditional caps, embroidered clothing, and gemstone jewelry.
